Bennevitis is our small family run wine business. Redyeates Wedge Vineyard is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Devon. We grow five varieties of grapes, all perfectly suited to the South West’s climate.
Produce
We produce all of our wine in our winery in Burlescombe, Devon from grapes grown exclusively at Redyeates Wedge Vineyard.
We grow five varieties of vines which were developed to be hardy and disease resistant, and produce early ripening grapes. This makes them ideal for vineyards in the South West of England.
White Varieties
Phoenix – a strongly aromatic variety similar in taste to Sauvignon Blanc.
Orion – wines are crisp, light and fruity.
Seyval Blanc – produces wines with crisp acidity and neutral flavours.
Red Varieties
Rondo – renowned for producing deep coloured and full-bodied red wine in cool climates. Wines have been likened to Tempranillo and Syrah.
Regent – red wine with dark berry fruit aroma and peppery, spicy hints.
