Despite the wind and rain, the first Crediton Farmers’ Market of 2015 took place in the town square on Saturday. To encourage customers to come along, there was an opportunity to win a hamper full of delicious local produce all kindly donated by the stall holders themselves.
The hamper was won and delivered to the door of Sarah, Jenny, Alby and Ben Tiley who were excited to win!
The second market of the month will be held on Saturday 17th January from 10am to 1pm. There will be another free draw to win a hamper of market produce. A ticket will be given to anyone who makes a purchase from any of the participating stalls and the draw will be made at 12.30pm.
