Down Farm is an organic market garden based just outside of Winkleigh in North Devon. It is run by first generation farmers Olivia James and Henry Allison. At Down Farm we grow using “no-dig” farming which means we do not invert the soil and use minimum tillage as to preserve the soil structure and help build a healthy soil. This is so we can grow nutritious and delicious veggies (and do a little bit less weeding!). We grow on just under one acre of beds and produce a full range of veggies throughout the year. Our farm gate is always open for visitors if you are interested in learning more about what we do!
